Bill's Artist Statement
Retirement means Bill can now seriously pursue his love of painting. Totally self-taught, Bill comes from a deep seated family tradition. Artistic talent is something shared with his grandfather and uncle who painted mostly for enjoyment. Bill's work is characterized by his use of deep, rich color. Many of his paintings are commissions of show dogs and pets. In addition to dogs, he enjoys painting various animals and landscapes. His paintings and prints can be found in many private collections around the U.S.A. and in Germany. Originals and Prints have been donated to AFTC, SFTCAA, DCA, and the nurses at Mary Freebed.
